All About
Finding joy in growing

We are...

…an employee-owned operation committed to making Joy Farms better every day. We are passionate about regenerative farming and sharing our farm and its produce with our community.

We believe...

…great joy can be found in connecting to the land, growing our own food, and sharing the bounty with our community. We see ourselves as stewards of the land and tasked with leaving it better than we found it. This forms the foundation for not only growing healthy and delicious food, but also creating the perfect setting for authentic and memorable celebrations.

Meet Kris DeLange …

Founder and owner /operator of Joy Farms, Kris says farming is just in her blood. Tracing her Dutch roots to the dairy farms of Holland, Kris has enjoyed growing since she was a child. Beginning with humble rock gardens at age six to regeneratively  growing beef, eggs, fruits and vegetables on her 20 acres. “Vero Beach is a challenging area to farm, but I enjoy providing the community with locally grown healthy food at reasonable prices. I believe the strength of a nation is only as strong as its communities. A farm draws people together around one thing we all must have – food.” Kris’ latest addition to the farm is Thrive Learning Hub, a place for families to engage true learning together. Growing up camping as a kid, my dad always taught me to leave a place better than how you found it. Through Joy Farms, I hope to leave this earth in just that way.

We invite you to visit and feel the Joy Farms difference!

All of the good, none of the bad

We will always...

  • Treat our animals humanely.
  • Manage our land with the most sustainable and regenerating farming methods possible.
  • Seek to support other local farmers in sharing both our failures and successes.
  • Be open to learning from each other, our customers, and other farmers.
  • Value our team members and our customers above monetary gain.

We will never...

  • Use steroids, antibiotics, hormones, or other harmful chemicals on our livestock.
  • Feed our livestock with steroids, urea, or any other harmful ingredients.
  • Spray our garden with Roundup or other herbicides that are harmful to nature.
  • Use chemical fertilizers that destroy the living organisms in the soil.
  • Use pesticides that have negative consequences for the thousands of beneficial insects on our farm.

Leave it better than how you found it .
