CORE BELIEFS

Our Families Believe:

  • We are all lifelong seekers. We follow the example of Jesus who modeled what it is to live our very best lives – every day, through every season. All learning is good for cultivating the full potential of who we are created to be. This is a lifelong task and it calls for parents and children to commit to being lifelong learners.
  • We live by a code. Authentic learning thrives when all participants – parents, teachers, and students – commit to a code of conduct encompassing mental, physical, and spiritual goals. We cannot call our children into excellence when we are not following that call ourselves.
  • We dig deep. True learning grows best through the experiences of both success and failure. A tree grows a strong trunk through its movement in the wind, forcing it to put down strong roots. We embrace challenge as opportunities to prove what we are made of.
  • We give back. Authentic learning must complete the cycle of growth by giving back. Just as a root draws nourishment from the soil and then produces fruit for the sustenance of others, so as we learn, we give back to our community by sharing our creativity, skills, and service.
  • We connect. The acquisition of knowledge must connect learning to the real world, connect students to serving others, and connect families to one another. These connections provide the deep roots necessary to cultivate personal growth into a thriving community.

WE LIVE BY A CODE

DIG DEEP.    SOW TRUTH.    CUTLIVATE COURAGE.    LIVE PURE.    GROW FAITH.    GIVE BACK.
