Nestled within the peaceful landscapes of Joy Farms in Vero Beach, Florida, Thrive provides farm-based entrepreneurial learning for students, seamlessly integrating academics to real world experience. We are not just a program for students, we’re a vibrant community where whole families learn and thrive together as we seek to follow Jesus with whole hearts.
Kids can accomplish far more than we think!
In our farm-based entrepreneurial learning program, students cultivate creativity and goal-setting skills while establishing farm-based businesses. They see themselves doing something important! Learners are eager to gain proficiency in essential skills such as customer engagement, budgeting, and marketing strategy. The journey fosters crucial character traits like commitment, perseverance, courage, and leadership. Through mutual support and collaboration, students inspire each other to reach their goals.

We connect academics to real world readiness as students learn to prepare budgets, critique their products, promote their wares through oral and written presentation, and use their creativity for branding and labeling. Human enthusiasm naturally follows important work. Kids can do important work!

Problem solving is a big part of every day. Through Socratic Conversation and Journaling, students learn to question, analyze, and approach challenges creatively. Our world is changing more rapidly than we can imagine making adaptability and innovative thinking crucial skills.
